Lots of "Yesses"

Great news. Things are still looking good for Chris, and he may even get to go home on Wednesday. Pam says that the doctor appears to have gotten all of the infected tissue out. Keep praying for his open wounds to stay protected and free from new infection. He may even get to go home on Wednesday. I think he's going stir crazy... he said, "i've never been on my back this long"... what a trial... i'll keep you updated. Thanks for praying, clearly God is saying "yes" alot so far!

Sunday is a good day.

Pam just let me know that the surgeon came in to review things today, and said things are looking pretty good. He'll be back tomorrow to check again. Keep praying for continued protection from infection, wisdom, rest and peace of mind. Fortunately we know the Great Physician and he knows our names, too.

this in from Chris:

Not sure how I aquired it. Could have happened to anyone. It started in my lower
abdomen/ groin area and spread to the top of my right leg. I thought it was a ingrown
hair that became infected. Swelling started and would not stop.
It kept getting larger and larger. That's when it spreadsd down to my leg.
It was red , swelling, and spreading. They had to cut two large incisions and
cut out all the bad tissue. They took out filets of flesh out of my leg.
They've left them open and filled them in with gauzes.

We will find out today (Sunday) if more surgery
is required.
